My Path To Soft Acrobatics

I've been teaching parkour and movement since 2011. I managed to become an entirely self-taught, full-time performer and sports model. But without any gymnastics or acrobatics background in my youth it seemed like I was missing some key pieces.

When I was 22 and already had back aches from poorly performed backflips for too many shows in a row (we were presenting cars at a car fair in Germany) I knew I didn't just want to continue on this path until my body would give out completely.

So in 2016 I decided to step full-time into teaching and learning about how adults can safely learn acrobatics. From 2017 onwards I helped run a movement studio in Hong Kong, gave workshops to professional stage performers and taught hundreds of classes to everyday people, ranging from general strength and flexibility classes, hatha yoga, to handstand courses and somersault workshops. During this time I developed and refined the soft acro framework in variations of month long courses and taught students all across Hong Kong.
